LEONARDO SLAFER

Hi, I’m Leonardo Slafer, a dedicated educator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With over 12 years of experience and a passion for teaching Spanish, I’ve crafted a unique learning approach that blends language and culture. My lessons are tailored to your goals, integrating the richness of Latin American traditions through music, literature, and more. I have degrees both in Economics and Spanish Teaching. During my life I´ve taught Math, Economics and Languages.I´m fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, and I know a little bit of Hebrew and German. I’m committed to making your learning journey both engaging and meaningful. Outside of teaching, I enjoy gardening, yoga, doing sports and exploring diverse topics like politics, spirituality, and philosophy.

BELARA MICHÁN

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.I'm a graduate and professor of literature who enjoys reading, writing and learning stories from different cultures. I am also a language instructor, poet, contemporary dancer and director of dance and theater.I've been teaching Spanish, literature and dance in different schools and institutions for over ten years. Meeting different people and being able to support their learning process is what I am passionate about.

MICHAEL JANET

My name is Michael Janet, and I am from Santiago de Chile.

I am a professor of Spanish as a second language and a psychologist. I'm currently living in a very touristic town called Pichilemu, famous as a surf capital all around the world. Here, I teach Spanish to people from different countries.I'm very interested in language and its importance for human beings in all spheres. I love to learn new languages and know about different cultures and societies through it. From my perspective it is fundamental in the teaching-learning language process to create a relational space where people can engage with others in dialogue. It´s in the meaningful encounter with the new language and other people that the learning occurs.

Hello there, my name is Ayelen Jaramillo and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a traveler who now lives in Buenos Aires. For many years I traveled around Latin America and learned a lot about the Spanish language and Latin American culture. I always liked learning languages ​​and also helping people improve their language skills, that is why I am now a Spanish teacher.I love traveling, nature, art, music, culture in general and I love talking about these topics during my classes.

ARIEL MORGEN

Nice to meet you! I'm Ariel Morgen, certified Spanish Teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm also a sports teacher, percussionist, psychology student, traveler and nature lover. I've been working in education for more than 20 years (whit all ages), and travelling all over the world even more. I believe that communication is the base for building a better world, and that learning it´s an endless process in life. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, English and Hebrew but I want to keep on learning other languages.As Voltaire said: "I would give everything I know for half of what I don't know."

ANA LAURA CROWES

My name is Ana Laura Cowes. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated as a Teacher of Spanish and Literature in 2016. Since then I have gained experience with both young and adult students. I try to offer challenging and enjoyable classes. That's why it is very important for me to focus on the goals and interests of each student.Besides teaching, I have participated as a tutor in some student cultural exchanges between France and Argentina. It was an amazing experience! Learning languages is also a passion of mine. I often visit the city's cultural district with its theaters and cinemas. Yoga is another one of my hobbies.

SOFÍA ANSALDO

Hi, my name is Sofía Ansaldo. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the city where I was born. I teach Spanish in high school and at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires.

I also have experience as an editor and researcher in Linguistics.

I am fluent in English, and I have also studied French, Japanese, and Italian. Besides languages, I am passionate about theater, dance, and kittens, and I love looking for inspiring materials to bring to my classes.
